Medical Assistance
Medical care in the US isn’t cheap, so make sure you have medical insurance in your travel insurance.
If you haven’t, you’re better off visiting a clinic than going to a hospital ER department. You can call a doctor for advice on http://www.travelmd.com/ or talk to http://www.med.nyu.edu/nycfreeclinic/ for help. Always ask how much it will cost up front – everyone does! Most urgent care clinics in New York will make house calls if you need them to.
